This is the perfect accommodation in Split. When we walked into our two bedroom apartment, we went straight for the terrace – it was everything shown in the online photo and more. We spent many wonderful hours observing the busy Split Harbour and blue Adriatic from this lovely outdoor spot. The apartment was very comfortable and was situated in a central and attractive neighbourhood. We could easily walk everywhere of tourist interest. Our host, Ivica Franić, generously entertained us one day with a trip to the fish market, then he grilled us a traditional Croatian seafood feast that evening. This was one of the highlights of our vacation! Thank-you, Ivica, we would love to return one day.

Beautyful apartment

We were four friends having a great time in Split. The apartment was very nice with a fantastic view to the Adriatic Sea. It was only 5-10 minutes walk to the city center, but still a very quiet area. The owner Ivica was very friendly, he also served us very good grilled fish one evening. Really wonderful apartment...

We spent a wonderful 5 days in Split at the begining of May 2011. The apartment Franic 1 is beautiful, even better than we could imagine. The apartment has a beautiful terace with the see view ( we enjoyed the great view to SPLIT Marina), very suitable and comfortable, quiet, very clean, good equipped. The owner Mr. Franic who lives in the same building, was very helpful and friendly. Apartment is only 5 minutes walk to center of Split.
Anyway this apartment is worth of more than you can see and imagine!!!
For shure, this is not our last stay in this apartment and we really recommend this apartment!.

It was our second vacation in this appartment (FRANIC1). After a very warm welcome we started immediately with relaxed vacation days ... enjoying the great view to SPLIT Marina from a nice terasse. Only 5 minutes walk to center of SPLIT !!! The appartment is very big and clean ... perfect size for bigger families. One day we we had a famous dinner prepared by owner IVICA ... best fish meal ever !! This was not our last stay in this appartment. Many thanks again to IVICA from Michael, Petra, Mathias, Susanne

Nous étions quatre amis qui avons loué l'appartement de M. Franic pendant une semaine. Tout a été parfait! L'appartement est grand, magnifique, bien meublé et décoré, et bien situé. Tout se fait à pied. Et que dire des petits déjeuners devant la mer! Tout est conforme à la description et c'était même plus beau que prévu.
De plus, notre hôte était vraiment très agréable. Il a tout mis en place pour nous ayons de belles vacances. Nous l'en remercions beaucoup.

We were 4 adults and 2 small kids spending a wonderful week in Split in June 2010. We had great expectations about the apartment Franic 1, but it was even better than we could imagine. The apartment is just perfect: well-equipped, quiet, clean and suitable for small children and even two families. The views are breathtakingly beautiful at the large terrace. The owner was helpful and friendly and also probably the best chef in town (he served us a dinner with shrimps, grilled fish and pancakes one night!). This apartment is worth of more than 5 stars and we really recommend this apartment. Thanks Ivica, we had a great time!

Seconda volta in Croazia, l'anno scorso in Istria, e anche questa volta siamo ritornati veramente contenti e soddisfatti. Appartamento stupendo, vicino al centro storico,pulitissimo, e molto molto spazioso, c'è un grande terrazzo dove si può mangiare e si gode di una bellissima vista sul mare e sulle isole.
Tutto comodo dal supermercato al parcheggio, e quello che conta di più e la disponibilità e la cordialità dei proprietari, che ora ringrazio per l'ottima cena . gita che non dimenticherò, SPALATO è fantastica

Apartamento Fantastico!

Este verano hemos ido 4 amigas a Split, en concreto al apartamento Franic 1. Es estupendo. Muy amplio. Super limpio. Con unas vistas fantasticas. Una amplia terraza donde se podia ver a lo lejos la isla de Brac. Bajando unas escaleras hay un supermercado. Esta exactamente a 10 min. de pleno centro, bajando una cuesta. Esta en una especie de area residencial y siempre hemos tenido sitio para aparcar en la puerta. Tiene aire acondicionado, e Ivica, el dueño fue muy amable y nos indico los sitios que nos apetecia ver e incluso nos hizo unos deliciosos crepes como despedida.
Split es precioso.

The apartment was wondeful. We really enjoyed our stay and the view is particulary worth a mention. Breakfast on the balcony was splendid and we enjoyed the views long into the evening. The owner, who lives in the block, was very helpful, and even cooked us dinner one evening - fantastic. Communication was very good pre the visit and during our stay. The only disappointing item, hardly worth a mention, is that there was no kettle, so we had to boil the water in a pan. There is a coffee maker, but we're British !!

Well worth a visit and we recommend this apartment.
